FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Stacked?+
Stacked is a paid community for AI & automation builders. Every week, members tackle a real-world automation challenge, submit a working solution for peer review, and earn points called stacks. Stacks unlock tier progression and prizes.
How much does it cost?+
Beginner is 10,000 NGN one-time. Intermediate is 30,000 NGN, or you earn 850 stacks in 90 days to upgrade free. Mentorship is 80,000 NGN per 8-week cohort and runs by application. The first 20 members get 50% off every plan.
Is there a refund policy?+
We don't offer refunds after access is granted, except in cases of payment error within 24 hours. Stacked is a community — you're paying for membership in a group of builders, not a course you can return.
What if I'm just starting to learn?+
Stacked isn't a tutorial platform. You should already know your way around at least one automation tool (n8n, Zapier, or Make.com) before joining. If you're still learning the basics, finish your course first, then come back.
What platforms do you support?+
n8n, Zapier, and Make.com. You pick a primary platform when you join, and you'll earn full stacks for submissions on that platform. Each week's challenge is published for all three, so you're free to build it on another platform too — but only your first build each week earns stacks, and a build on a non-primary platform earns 10 fewer. Extra builds still get peer reviewed and still go in your portfolio.
Can I switch my primary platform?+
Yes, once every 30 days via your profile settings.
What if I miss a week?+
You can still access expired challenges from your dashboard. The 4 most recent expired challenges earn 5 stacks each (max 2 per week). Older expired challenges are accessible for portfolio use but don't earn stacks.
What happens when I submit?+
Your submission is assigned to 2 peers at your tier or higher. Reviews rotate through the pool — everyone takes a turn before anyone gets a second one — so the load stays even. They review your Loom + workflow and give feedback. Once both reviews are in, you earn your stacks. The whole loop usually takes 3–5 days.
Am I being graded?+
No. Reviewers give feedback, not grades. The point is to learn from how other builders approached the same problem and to improve your craft.
What if my reviewer doesn't show up?+
The system reassigns to a new reviewer after 5 days. You don't lose anything.
What if a review says something that isn't true?+
Open a thread on it. Under Reviews Received, every review has a Thread button — use it to point out what the reviewer got wrong and where in your build it shows. You each get 6 messages, you both stay anonymous, and the reviewer is expected to reply. You can't close the thread until they have answered, or until 48 hours pass with no reply from them — nobody gets to have the last word by shutting the other person out. It won't change your stacks; it's there so the two of you can settle the facts. If you can't agree, either of you can bring in an admin, who reads the whole thread and watches your build before deciding. Threads are for the build, never the person: no abuse, no pressuring anyone for a better review, no swapping contact details, no taking it off Stacked. Break those rules and you can lose stacks, lose thread access, or lose your account — with no refund. And if an admin confirms a reviewer left feedback on a build they never properly watched, that reviewer loses 10 stacks.
Where does the WhatsApp community live?+
After you join, you'll be added to the Stacked WhatsApp Community. That's where the day-to-day conversation, wins, questions, and jobs happen. The website handles challenges and progression; WhatsApp handles community.
How do tier upgrades work?+
The climb is Beginner to Intermediate. Pay the upgrade fee, or earn 850 stacks within 90 days. Either way you submit a portfolio of 3 reviewed builds with Loom links and a short readiness statement before the upgrade is approved.
How is Mentorship different?+
Mentorship isn't a tier you climb to, it's a side door you apply through. It runs in capped 8-week cohorts of 15 seats. Anyone can apply, beginner or not, and the interview is the level filter. You're approved first, then you pay to lock your seat. Hit the stacks threshold and you get 30% off plus priority on seats.
Who runs Stacked?+
Stacked is run by Errah, an automation builder based in Lagos. As the community grows, trusted senior members handle peer review assignments and curation.
Is Stacked Nigerian-only?+
No. Stacked is founded in Nigeria but open globally. 72% of our survey respondents said they wanted a mixed Nigerian + international community — we agree.
